Helicopter Training Courses
Get started with THE BASICS Course.
During this two-hour course you learn the basic flight maneuvers like flying level, turning, climbing, airspeed changes and descending. Time permitting, you will also be guided to a landing by your instructor.
THE BASICS helicopter course is only $99.00. You can also add an additional 2 hours of simulator use to practice what you learned for only $50 more.
Take one or several mission based courses, like navigation and mountain flying. The courses are primarily designed to show you how much fun aviation is, but also what the challenges of aviation are. All courses are tailored for non-aviation experienced participants. You will learn the real world skills without the pressure and price tag of real flying.
The function of the different flight controls and instruments will be explained by your instructor. Then get a feel for the controls while learning the basic flight maneuvers. Fun and educational. Enjoy!
THE BASICS Duration: 2 Hours Cost: $99.00

Begin to learn how to hover. Practicing takeoffs and landings in the airport Traffic Pattern will increase your proficiency level during all phases of flight. You will also learn how to use checklists and do radio communications. This course is probably the most intense one of them all: There are lots of new tasks to learn in a very short period of time. Get through it, and the door to aviation will open up for you.

Sounds simple: Adjust your payload and take enough fuel with you to make it safely to your destination. Why then are so many pilots running out of fuel? Face a flight with "Get-There-Itis", weather/wind and diversion, will you still make it? This course is all about fuel managment: Apply the skills learned of the previous courses and meet the challenges of flight planning and weather.
